Aussie Broadband Expands Western Australia Operations

Aussie Broadband (ASX:ABB) expanded its Western Australia operations, with an upgraded call center in West Perth and an increase in its local distribution center capacity in Welshpool, the telecommunications services company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The company anticipates Western Australia to be its second major hub outside of Victoria, the statement said.

The expansion is also expected to position the company to take advantage of the next phase of the nbn rollout in 2028, according to Aussie Broadband Group CEO Brian Maher.
