Aurora Cannabis Acquires UK's Internode Pharma, HAP Pharma for $2.86 Million

Aurora Cannabis (ACB) agreed to acquire Internode Pharma and HAP Pharma for a combined 2.1 million British pounds ($2.86 million) to expand in the UK.

Aurora, based in Edmonton, Canada, said Wednesday the price is contingent on certain post-closing conditions. Internode Pharma and HAP Pharma operate a licensed import and distribution facility and a virtual pharmacy in Birmingham, England.

The acquisition is expected to be accretive to adjusted EBITDA in future quarters, helped by operational efficiencies and reduced reliance on third parties, Aurora said.
