Aurobindo Pharma (NSE:AUROPHARMA, BOM:524804) said its step-down subsidiary A1 Biochem Labs (India) subscribed to 100% of A1 Biochem USA for $1 million, according to a Saturday exchange filing.
A1 Biochem USA was incorporated on Aug. 27 and will provide contract research and development services as part of Aurobindo's acquisition of the A1 Biochem Group.
The investment comprises 10,000 equity shares at $100 each and was completed on Sept. 11. The new subsidiary has yet to commence business.
