Aumas Resources (KLSE:AUMAS) has reported a maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE) of 110,000 ounces of contained gold for its Andrassy gold project in Tawau, Sabah, Malaysia, according to a Friday filing to the Malaysian stock exchange.
The gold miner's shares were up nearly 3% in Monday's trade.
Andrassy gold project is held by the company through its wholly owned subsidiary, Wullersdorf Resources, following an exclusive prospecting and contract of work agreement signed in 2024 with prospecting licence holder Aurelius Borneo Mining.
The project is held by Aurelius under an Extension Prospecting Licence covering an area of around 18,000 hectares, which has been renewed for one year and is valid until July 12, 2027.
