Auckland International Airport's Total Passenger Movements Up 1% in April

Auckland International Airport (ASX:AIA, NZE:AIA) recorded 1.6 million passenger movements in April, up 1% year on year, according to a Friday filing with the New Zealand bourse.

Total passenger movements for the financial year to date reached 16.3 million in April, marking a 2% year-on-year increase, per the filing.

Total international passenger movements rose 1% to 845,978, the filing added.

Excluding transits, international passenger movements increased by 1%. International seat capacity fell 1%, resulting in average load factors of 87%, a 1.4 percentage-point increase year on year, the company said.

Domestic passenger movements rose 1% to 709,610.
