Auckland International Airport (ASX:AIA, NZE:AIA) said it plans for international travelers to move through security screening before passport control within a new integrated departures terminal, according to a Monday statement.
International passengers will still complete both security screening and passport checks before departure, the company said, adding that it is working with the New Zealand Customs Service and the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand on the project.
The company's New Zealand shares were down 1% in recent Monday trade.
