Atomic Eagle (ASX:AEU) said resource extension drilling at the Chisebuka deposit at the Muntanga uranium project in Zambia continues to extend the boundaries of the previously defined uranium mineralization, according to a Tuesday ASX filing.
It encountered intercepts of 5.4 meters at 422 parts per million of triuranium octoxide-equivalent from 47 meters, as well as 7.3 meters at 284 ppm of triuranium octoxide-equivalent from 47.2 meters.
The drilling also demonstrated continuity of mineralization between the higher-grade south‑west zone and the previously defined resource area.
It plans to conduct a reverse circulation drill program of 12 holes for around 900 meters at the Chisebuka higher-grade zones.
Its shares fell 6% in recent trading on Tuesday.
