Astroscale Narrows Losses in Fiscal Year 2026

Astroscale's (TYO:186A) loss attributable to owners of the parent narrowed to nearly 6.7 billion yen for the fiscal year 2026 from 21.6 billion yen a year earlier.

The space research and tech company's loss per share was 49.78 yen, compared with 188.91 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.

Revenue jumped 142% to 5.94 billion yen from 2.46 billion yen in the prior year.

For the fiscal year 2027, the company expects an attributable loss of between 9.6 billion yen and 10.6 billion yen, basic loss per share of between 69.17 yen and 76.38 yen, and revenue of between 7 billion yen and 9 billion yen.

Astroscale does not plan to pay any interim or year-end dividends for the current fiscal year.
