Aster DM Healthcare (NSE:ASTERDM, BOM:540975) has invested about 450.9 million Indian rupees in its subsidiary, Aster DM Super-Specialty Hospital (Sarjapur), through a rights issue.
The company acquired 45.1 million equity shares of the subsidiary at a face value of 10 rupees each, according to a stock exchange filing on Thursday. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes of the Sarjapur entity.
Shares of Aster DM Healthcare rose nearly 3% in recent trade.
