Ashoka Buildcon (NSE:ASHOKA, BOM:533271) said its consolidated profit attributable to the owners fell to 1.43 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter from 4.32 billion rupees a year ago, according to a Thursday filing on Indian bourses.
The company's shares fell over 4% in Friday's trade.
Earnings per share for the quarter ended March 31 contracted to 5.51 rupees from 15.40 rupees a year earlier.
Revenue from operations of the construction company increased also declined to 19.5 billion rupees from 26.9 billion rupees, the filing said.
