Arafura Rare Earths Non-Executive Chair Mark Southey to Resign

Arafura Rare Earths (ASX:ARU) said Non-Executive Chair Mark Southey will not seek re-election and will resign from his role immediately after the company's annual general meeting on Oct. 22, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Southey joined the company's board in January 2018 as a non-executive director and was appointed as chair in February 2019, per the filing.

The company said it has launched a recruitment process for a new chair.
