Apollo Minerals (ASX:AON) said the Administrative Court of Toulouse in France granted an interim suspension of a letter from the Directorate General for Energy and Climate confirming the validity of the Couflens exploration permit, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
A group of non-government organisations had filed an application against the French state with the Administrative Court seeking the interim suspension of the letter.
The Directorate General for Energy and Climate has confirmed to the firm that the Minister will be filing an urgent appeal with the Council of State in the coming days seeking to overturn the interim suspension order.
The French State said the interim ruling does not call into question the validity of the exploration permit as confirmed by the Council of State, and that the Couflens tungsten deposit is strategically important for the security and resilience of France's supply chains.
