AOM International (HKG:0381) plans to launch a self-operated restaurant and franchise project under its Fujian Laojiu brand this year, as it expands its wine-related business, according to an April 17 Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the firm were down nearly 10% in Monday morning trade.
The project will focus on "stewed pot" dining, combining traditional Chinese wine heritage with modern restaurant formats, and will operate through both self-run outlets and franchising.
