Antipa Minerals Selects Preferred Development Pathway for Western Australia Project

By

Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) selected a preferred development pathway for its wholly-owned Minyari Dome Gold-Copper Development Project in Western Australia, comprising carbon-in-leach gold dore production followed by flotation of primary sulfide ore residue to produce a separate copper concentrate, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The studies assessed five processing configurations and multiple open-pit and underground mining sequences to enhance project economics, optimize capital efficiency, accelerate access to higher-grade ore, and shorten the payback period, per the filing.

The company is finalizing the detailed mine schedule, capital expenditure and operating expenditure ahead of updating its economic model and completing the pre-feasibility study, which is now expected to be released in November, the filing added.
