Anti-Corruption Watchdog Ends Probe Into Rohas Tecnic Unit

Rohas Tecnic (KLSE:ROHAS) said the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has concluded its investigation into its unit, HG Power Transmission, with no further action to be taken, according to a Friday Malaysian bourse filing.

Shares slid over 2% in recent trade.

HG Power Transmission received a letter from the MACC on July 3 confirming the investigation had been completed and that no charges, prosecution or other enforcement action would be taken against the unit, its shareholders, directors or former directors.

Rohas Tecnic said the outcome brings the matter to a close and provides certainty for the company and its stakeholders, adding that it remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance, integrity and regulatory compliance in the conduct of its business.
