AnteoTech (ASX:ADO) completed the initial stage of a collaborative immunoassay product development work program, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The program is focused on the development of AnteoBind NXT activated magnetic particles for chemiluminescent immunoassays (CLIA).
The initial stage involved performance testing of the magnetic particles, supplied by an unnamed global life sciences company, for their suitability for use in large scale, high-throughput, automated CLIA diagnostic platforms.
The next stage of work has been agreed and is about to begin, the company said.
AnteoTech's shares jumped nearly 18% in recent trading on Wednesday.
