Anson Resources (ASX:ASN) received $2.7 million from POSCO Holdings as a facilitation fee under a binding direct lithium extraction (DLE) demonstration plant agreement relating to the construction and operation of a DLE demonstration facility at its Green River lithium project in the US, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The company said the total facilitation fee under the agreement is $5.2 million, with funds to be used to advance the development of the Green River lithium project, including the definitive feasibility study (DFS) expected to be completed in January 2027, the filing added.
The company's shares rose 5% in recent Wednesday trade.
