Ankura Intelligent Power Ties Up With Energy Storage Firm for Development of Solid-State Transformers

Jiangsu Ankura Intelligent Power (SHE:300617) signed an agreement with energy storage tech firm Suzhou Xingchen Waterfall Power Technology for the development of solid-state transformers or SSTs, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Wednesday.

The parties will collaborate in developing an SST engineering prototype within 18 months, as well as establishing an SST patent portfolio and commercializing SST products.

Ankura will provide 30 million yuan in commissioned research and development funding to Suzhou Xingchen.

The Chinese smart power systems manufacturer's shares jumped 4% at the close.

N R Agarwal Industries Ups Capacity Plan for Multi-layer Board Project in Dahej, India

N R Agarwal Industries (NSE:NRAIL, BOM:516082) said it has upgraded the planned capacity of its upcoming multi-layer board plant in Gujarat, India, to 1,500 tonnes per day from 1,020 TPD, according to an Indian bourse filing by the company.The Dahej town-based project, which involves a paper machine imported from China, will have an estimated output of around 42,000 tonnes per month, the filing said.The company has revised the project cost to about 15 billion Indian rupees and increased land requirement to around 150 acres, it added.Shares of the company fell nearly 1% at market close on Wednesday.

Pou Sheng International's Profit Jumps 33% in Q1
