AMTD Idea's Units Complete $30 Million Acquisition of London Hotel

AMTD Idea's (SGX:HKB) subsidiaries, AMTD Digital and The Generation Essentials Group, completed the acquisition of a hotel in London, named Dao by Dorsett Hornsey Hotel, for $30 million, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The hotel, which comprises 68 services apartments and hotel rooms, will be renamed AMTD Dao by Dorsett Hornsey.

The hotel acquisition was closed without using external financing.

Lotte Provides KRW451.7 Billion Loan to Subsidiary Lotte Chemical Indonesia

Lotte Chemical (KRX:011170) subsidiary Lotte Chemical Indonesia took out a loan of 451.7 billion won from its parent Lotte (KRX:004990), according to a filing with the Korea Exchange on Tuesday.The sum will be used for the repayment of facility borrowings, including Export Credit Agency (ECA) loans, and for liquidity management, the filing said.The loan period is from June 12, 2026, to Dec. 20, 2036. The loan amount is equivalent to 2.57% of Lotte Chemical Indonesia's total equity capital, it said.

AMTD Idea's Units to Acquire London Office Tower for $17 Million

AMTD Idea's (SGX:HKB) units, AMTD Digital and The Generation Essentials Group, signed definitive agreements to acquire an office tower in London for $17 million, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.The acquisition of the 9,646-square-meter building is expected to be completed without using external funding.The building comprises a Grade A office and accommodation across several levels and will serve as the company's global headquarters once the acquisition is completed.
