Ampol (ASX:ALD) logged AU$3.582 in underlying replacement cost operating profit after tax earnings per share for the first-half, compared with AU$0.749 a year ago, a Monday filing showed.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of AU$3.61.
For the six months ended June 30, revenue was AU$20.41 billion versus AU$15.3 billion previously, the Australia-listed fuel retailer added. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected AU$16.36 billion.
The board declared an interim dividend of AU$1.85 per share, up from AU$0.40 a year earlier, payable Sept. 30 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 7.
