Amplitude Energy's Victoria Well Reaches Target Depth

Amplitude Energy's (ASX:AEL) Juliet-1 exploration well in the Offshore Otway Basin has successfully reached its target depth of 2,199 meters true vertical depth subsea, encountering hydrocarbons in the primary Waarre C reservoir, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Preliminary wireline data indicate excellent reservoir quality, high deliverability, and carbon dioxide concentrations of less than 2 mole percent, per the filing.

The well is ahead of schedule and under budget, with completion and clean-up activities expected to conclude within the next two weeks before it is suspended for potential development under the East Coast Supply Project, the filing added.
