The Chinese chip gear maker posted a 34% increase in revenue to 2.91 billion yuan from 2.17 billion yuan.
AMEC attributed its performance to the development of the semiconductor equipment market.
The company said it witnessed a significant increase in new shipments of high-end products targeting key etching processes in advanced logic and memory device manufacturing during the quarter.
