-- AME Real Estate Investment Trust (KLSE:AMEREIT) recorded a revaluation surplus of about 86 million ringgit on its investment property portfolio for the financial year ended March 31, according to a Wednesday Malaysian bourse filing.
Shares gained 3% in Thursday's afternoon trade.
The uplift in property values is expected to increase the company's net asset value per unit to about 1.26 ringgit before income distribution.
The exercise was conducted for accounting purposes under Malaysian financial reporting standards and REIT guidelines requiring annual revaluations, the filing said.
