Amazon.com's (AMZN) Prime Video will invest more than $2 billion in Latin America between 2027 and 2030 across original programming, locally produced and acquired content and live sports rights, Amazon said Thursday.
The investment will cover Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Chile, with Prime Video planning to more than double the number of Local Originals produced across the five countries compared with 2026.
Prime Video also said live sports viewership in Latin America has surpassed 20 million households in 2026 so far, exceeding the total for all of 2025.
