E-commerce giant Amazon earmarked an additional $13 billion for India to expand artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure, taking its total planned investment in the country to $48 billion for 2026-2030.
The company earlier committed $35 billion toward its India operations, which will now be expanded with fresh spending focused on AWS data center capacity in Mumbai and Hyderabad, according to a company statement on Thursday. The investment will support AI services, cloud computing tools and digital infrastructure for businesses, startups and government users.
Amazon will also continue scaling its logistics network, with plans to add over 20 fulfillment centers and more than 100 last-mile delivery stations.
