Amata (BKK:AMATA) said 38 million baht remained unutilized from the net proceeds of its 2020 rights offering as of June 30, according to a Tuesday Thailand Exchange filing.
The company said it raised 975.4 million baht in net proceeds from the rights offering, which was initially intended to fund the Yangon Amata Smart & Eco City Development Project in Myanmar.
Following shareholder approval in 2021, the remaining proceeds were reallocated for land acquisition, working capital and overseas projects due to political unrest in Myanmar.
During the six months ended June 30, 2026, Amata made no additional overseas investments. The company said 555 million baht allocated for land acquisition and working capital had been fully utilized, while 242.40 million baht had been invested in overseas projects.
