Alto Neuroscience社、治療抵抗性うつ病に対するALTO-207の第2b相臨床試験を開始

-- アルト・ニューロサイエンス（ANRO）は火曜日、治療抵抗性うつ病を対象とした開発中の薬剤ALTO-207の第2b相臨床試験を開始したと発表した。 同社によると、この無作為化プラセボ対照試験は、以前のPAX-D試験で得られた良好な結果を再現し、承認申請に向けた手続きを効率化することを目的としている。ALTO-207は、プラミペキソールとオンダンセトロンの新規徐放性配合剤である。 同社によれば、この製剤はプラミペキソールに典型的にみられる吐き気を軽減し、より高用量での投与と迅速な用量調節を可能にすることを目指している。以前の第2a相試験では、モンゴメリー・アスベルグうつ病評価尺度（MADRS）で測定したうつ病症状において、統計的に有意な改善が認められたという。 同社によると、この試験には、複数の治療歴があり効果が得られなかった米国と英国の成人約178人が登録される予定である。同社によると、主な目的は8週間の治療期間におけるうつ病スコアの変化を測定することであり、主要なデータは2027年下半期に得られる見込みだという。
