Allison Transmission (ALSN) said Wednesday that it will supply fully automatic transmissions to a major order with General Dynamics (GD) European Land Systems, covering approximately 3,000 EAGLE V armored vehicles for the German Armed Forces.
Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
The order encompasses both EAGLE V 4x4 command and control vehicles and EAGLE V 6x6 medium armored ambulance vehicles and is scheduled for delivery starting in 2027, the company said.
The General Dynamics contract also includes an option for up to 2,000 additional vehicles, the company said.
Allison shares were 2.4% higher in Wednesday trading, while General Dynamics was up 1.4%.
