Allied Biofuels has signed a logistics agreement with Pro Logistic Services to establish railway and marine export corridors for sustainable aviation fuel from Uzbekistan to Europe and the UAE, supporting its $6.08 billion biorefinery project, it said on Monday.
The agreement is a key component of Allied Biofuels' $6.08 billion, Presidential Decree-backed biorefinery project, which includes a 4.45 gigawatts renewable energy system and a binding offtake memorandum with Uzbekistan Airports for 117,000 metric tons per annum.
Under the partnership, Pro Logistic Services will design and implement multimodal transport solutions utilizing its fleet of over 4,000 wagons and direct rail forwarding contracts across Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
Deliveries to the UAE will move via rail from Miskin Station through the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route to Georgian ports, then via marine tankers through the Black Sea and Suez Canal to Fujairah, as per the statement.
European shipments will travel by rail directly to the Port of Riga for onward distribution to hubs like Hamburg. The framework provides prospective airline offtake partners with commercial supply-chain certainty for the project's future output, it added.
