Alliance Bank Malaysia (KLSE:ABMB) booked a record net profit after tax of 826.5 million ringgit for the fiscal year ended March 31, up 10% year over year, according to a Wednesday filing with the Malaysian Exchange.
Net income rose 8.6% to 2.47 billion ringgit, backed by net interest income of 2.01 billion ringgit and a 42% surge in non-interest income to 459.2 million ringgit.
Additionally, RAM Ratings upgraded the financial institution ratings of Alliance Bank and Alliance Islamic Bank to AA3/Stable/P1.
