Aldoro Resources Identifies Rare Earth Mineralization at Namibia Project

By

Aldoro Resources (ASX:ARN) said it has identified rare earth mineralization during a recent drilling at its 85%-owned Kameelburg project in Namibia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The results were up to 9 meters at 0.4% niobium pentoxide, 0.7% total rare earth oxide (TREO), and 3.4% strontium carbonate from selected layers between 82 meters and 132 meters, the filing added.

The company said the persistence of the niobium-rich igneous carbonate rock phase demonstrates that the niobium-bearing layer extends further to the northeast than the high-grade rare earth element and strontium core, supporting the interpretation of a broader, structurally controlled niobium-enriched horizon across the northern sector of the carbonatite.

Phase 2 assays have now been received from eight holes, with results from a further seven holes expected to flow through progressively over the coming weeks, it added.
