Aisin Corp.'s (TYO:7259) attributable profit to owners during the fiscal first quarter ended June 30, declined by 19% to 31.9 billion yen from 39.6 billion yen a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Tokyo Exchange.
Basic earnings per share came in at 44.48 yen compared with 52.31 yen in the year-ago period.
Revenue rose 7.8% year over year to 1.315 trillion yen from 1.220 trillion yen.
The supplier of automotive components forecasted an attributable profit to owners of 150 billion yen, earnings per share of 212.70 yen and revenue of 5.25 trillion yen for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.
