Air China's (SHA:601111, HKG:0753) available seat kilometers, which measure passenger capacity, fell 6.1% year over year in June, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on Tuesday.
Revenue passenger kilometers, an indicator of passenger traffic, declined 2.9% from a year earlier during the month.
Cargo capacity, measured by available freight tonne-kilometers, decreased by 6.3% year over year.
Cargo and mail traffic, measured by revenue freight tonne-kilometers, fell 1.6% from a year earlier.
The airline added one A320-family aircraft and one B737 aircraft in June while retiring one A320, bringing its fleet to 972 aircraft at the end of the month.
