AIA (HKG:1299) has applied to list 2 billion yuan of 2.875% subordinated dated securities due 2046 on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, according to a Monday bourse filing.
The securities were issued under AIA's $18 billion global medium-term note and securities program and are available only to professional investors.
Listing and trading permission are expected to take effect on Monday.
