Earnings per share edged up 5.3% year on year to 0.20 yuan, the lender said, without providing year-ago figures.
Net interest income jumped 7.6% to 151.2 billion yuan from 140.6 billion yuan a year prior.
Operating income climbed 10.5% to 206.3 billion yuan.
By the end of March, the bank's ratio of non-performing loans shrank 0.02 percentage points from the end of 2025 to 1.25%.
