Ronggan Tech specializes in millimeter-wave radar and sensor-fusion perception technologies.
The acquisition will help boost Afari's smart driving technology for L2 to L4 autonomous driving levels.
The vehicle manufacturer's shares rose 5% during the afternoon trade.
