AeroVironment Reports NASA Contract Award

AeroVironment (AVAV) said Thursday its MacCready Works team has secured a contract for the co-design and co-manufacture of three Mars helicopters for NASA's SkyFall mission.

The contract award with with the agency's Jet Propulsion Laboratory will take the project from concept to a funded Mars science mission and a path toward launch in late 2028, it said.

SkyFall is the first mission to fly a team of three instrument-carrying helicopters on Mars, the company said.

NeoGenomics (NEO) said its RaDaR ST molecular residual disease assay received expanded Medicare coverage to include immunotherapy response monitoring for patients with late-stage solid tumors.The determination from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' Molecular Diagnostic Services Program is the third Medicare-covered indication for RaDaR ST, NeoGenomics said Wednesday in a statement.The coverage allows use of the assay to monitor response to immune-checkpoint inhibitor therapy, and NeoGenomics said it has two additional RaDaR ST submissions pending.NeoGenomics shares rose 2.1% in after-hours trading.
