Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment Completes Hangzhou Zhonggui Electronic Stake Purchase; Shares Fall 6%

Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment China (SHA:688012) completed the acquisition of a 64.69% stake in Hangzhou Zhonggui Electronic Technology, moving forward with its share-and-cash acquisition plan.

The company will now issue new shares to transaction counterparties and issue shares to raise supporting funds, according to a Sunday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Shares of the chip gear maker declined 6% in recent trade.

Old Chang Kee's Profit Slides 12% in Fiscal H2

Old Chang Kee's (SGX:5ML) profit for the fiscal second half ended March 31 fell by 12% to SG$4.5 million from SG$5.1 million a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Earnings per share dropped to SG$0.0374 compared with SG$0.0422 in the year-ago period.The food and beverage company's revenue inched up 2.8% year over year to SG$51.5 million from SG$50.1 million.

Hanmi Pharm Grants Eli Lilly Worldwide License for Intestinal Growth Drug; Shares Rise 6%

Hanmi Pharm (KRX:128940) granted Eli Lilly worldwide exclusive rights to develop, produce, and market the South Korean drug company's sonefpeglutide biologic drug candidate, according to a Monday news release in Seoul.The rights do not cover Korea, according to Hanmi.Hanmi is set to receive a $75 million upfront payment from the U.S. drug company and an additional $1.19 billion in milestone payments from clinical development, regulatory approval, and commercialization.The South Korean drug company will also be eligible for royalties following the launch.Sonefpeglutide is a long-acting glucagon-like peptide 2 or GLP-2 that helps with intestinal growth. GLP-2 obtained approval for short bowel syndrome.Shares rose 6% during afternoon trading on Monday.
