Aduro Clean Technologies (ADUR) signed a memorandum of understanding with AstroTurf to evaluate its Hydrochemolytic Technology for recycling end-of-life synthetic turf, the company said Tuesday.
The companies will evaluate recovering polyethylene and polypropylene from used synthetic turf and converting them into circular petrochemical feedstocks.
Aduro said the collaboration will evaluate material recovery and recycling processes for synthetic turf. The non-binding MOU does not include commercial deployment terms.
