Adobe Introduces Firefly AI Assistant, New Editing Features in Firefly Video Editor

Adobe (ADBE) said Wednesday that it has launched the Firefly AI Assistant, an artificial intelligence tool that enables users to describe the outcome they want while the assistant executes complex, multi-step workflows across Adobe's Creative Cloud apps, including Photoshop, Premiere, and Lightroom, among others.

The company said it will add this capability to leading third-party AI models including Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic's large language model Claude.

Adobe said it has also added new video and image editing features in its Firefly Video Editor including studio-quality sound, advanced color adjustments.

The Firefly AI Assistant will be available in public beta in Adobe Firefly in the coming weeks; meanwhile, the new editing features and access to new partner models are available in Firefly starting Wednesday, Adobe said.

Equity Bancshares (EQBK) reported Q1 core earnings late Tuesday of $1.32 per diluted share, up from $0.90 a year earlier.Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.16.Revenue in the three months ended March 31, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, rose to $83.2 million from $60.6 million a year earlier.Four analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $82.7 million.The company's shares fell 4.1% in after-hours trading.
