ADNOC Teams Up with SLB to Deploy AI Platform on Drilling Rigs Fleet

Abu Dhabi National Oil Co., or Adnoc, partnered with US-based technology company SLB to deploy an artificial intelligence-enabled platform across its fleet of over 120 drilling rigs.

The state-owned oil group said the Real-Time Operations Centre platform replaces multiple tools, enabling staff to monitor, analyze and manage drilling operations faster across its onshore and offshore assets, according to a Tuesday release.

The platform, enabled by SLB's DrillOps intelligent well delivery and insights products, provides live rig data from drilling operations in a single environment and turns large volumes of drilling data into clear information.
