Aditya Birla Capital's Consolidated Profit Increases in Fiscal Q4

Aditya Birla Capital (NSE:ABCAPITAL, BOM:540691) reported an increase in its consolidated attributable profit to 11.3 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 against 8.65 billion rupees a year ago.

Earnings per share climbed to 4.26 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 3.29 rupees, according to a Monday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the non-banking finance company.

Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 also increased to 134.6 billion rupees from 122.1 billion rupees a year earlier.

Shares of the company were up nearly 1% in after-market hours.
