Adani Enterprises (NSE:ADANIENT, BOM:512599) posted a consolidated attributable net loss of 11.6 billion Indian rupees in fiscal first quarter, compared with a net profit of 8.85 billion rupees a year ago.
Loss per share in the quarter ended June 30 stood at 8.91 rupees, compared with earnings per share of 7.12 rupees last year, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the global integrated infrastructure company.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1, however, increased to 329.2 billion rupees from 219.6 billion rupees a year ago.
Shares of the company rose nearly 1% at market close.
