Adani Energy Solutions (BOM:539254, NSE:ADANIENSOL) won a transmission project in Maharashtra with an estimated capital expenditure of about 47 billion rupees to evacuate up to 4,500 MW of renewable and storage power, according to a Wednesday exchange filing.
The project, awarded through tariff-based competitive bidding, will add 562 circuit km of transmission lines and 9,000 MVA of transformation capacity to the company's portfolio.
It is expected to be completed within 36 months, taking AESL's transmission order book to about 850 billion rupees.
Shares of the power transmission and distribution company rose nearly 1% in recent trade.
