The second phase of Acme International (HKG:1870) unit Lechang Green Energy Storage Technology's energy storage business expansion project obtained a Guangdong Province Enterprise Investment Project Filing Certificate.
The electrochemical energy storage facility will have a capacity of 218 megawatt/436 megawatt-hours, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Phase two of the project will integrate new energy into the regional power grid and provide ancillary services.
