ACG Metals (ACG.L) said Thursday that the updated competent person's report for its Gediktepe mine in Türkiye significantly increased the project's value over the same mine life and uplifted its total asset net present value, or NPV.
The 2026 CPR registered a total asset post-tax NPV of $1.2 billion, compared with $265 million in the 2024 CPR, while the updated total ore reserves tonnage jumped to 26.5 million tonnes from 18.5 million tonnes two years prior. The site's average annual production is expected to surge to 36,000 tonnes of copper equivalent between 2027 and 2031, compared with the previous target of 20,000 tonnes to 25,000 tonnes, with a projected total output of 352,000 tonnes of copper equivalent over its initial 11-year mine life.
Base metals production at Gediktepe's enriched ore treatment project is slated to start online in the third quarter of 2027, while heap-leach gold production will continue beyond the end of 2026.
