Accenture (ACN) said Monday it agreed to acquire Whalar, a creator and social media agency, from Whalar Group, expanding its influencer marketing and customer engagement capabilities.
Financial terms were not disclosed and the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
Whalar will become part of Accenture Song, the company's marketing and creative services unit. Accenture said the deal is aimed at enhancing its capabilities in connecting real-time insights, social commerce, and AI-driven discovery to help brands integrate creators more deeply into customer experiences.
