160 Health International (HKG:2656) said Monday it is establishing a new business unit that will combine its healthcare capabilities with artificial intelligence computing in a bid to tap into lucrative markets, according to a same-day bourse filing.
The company's shares were up more than 19% in late-morning trade Monday.
The company said the move follows the completion of a recent 12.2 million yuan contract under which it delivered to a large healthcare client an integrated solution that could generate AI-powered health reports, detect early risk warnings, and manage users' health profiles.
