Blackstone (BX) and I Squared are considering making a bid for Stroeer that may value the German media group at 2.5 billion euros ($2.94 billion), Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The private equity firms are edging closer to a per-share offer in the mid-40-euro range, the report said.
I Squared declined to comment to, while Blackstone didn't immediately reply to a request for comment.
