Trex Appoints Zachary C. Lauer as COO

-- Trex (TREX) said Monday it has appointed Zachary C. Lauer as senior vice president and chief operations officer.

In this role, Lauer will lead the company's manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and research and development functions, Trex said.

Lauer was most recently senior vice president of supply chain and manufacturing at Trex, the company added.

Shares of the company were down 2.4% in early Monday trading.
